Carrie Boberg
Carrie Boberg is a producer, editor and actor proud to be based in Duluth, Minnesota.
She had a hand in creating several short films for hypothetical productions including Piling Up Vera (2000 Indie Kino Round of Ten), POV, Pratt Fall and Amoeba — before making the jump to feature films with the critically acclaimed Newton’s Disease, which was an official selection at the 2007 Fargo Film Festival.
Carrie studied at The American Film Institute (AFI) in Los Angeles and ProMax Training Centers helped her to make the jump from acting to editing. She earned her BFA magna cum laude from the University of Minnesota — Duluth (UMD) in acting/theater arts. While there she was nominated for the National Irene Ryan acting award for her portrayal of Maggie in Dancing at Lughnasa.
When she’s not editing or producing or acting, Carrie enjoys hiking, biking, camping and cross-country skiing with her husband Steve. They welcomed their first child, Dahlia Marie, into their family in December 2007. She is hard at work learning Photoshop, editing skills, and how to crawl.
